Andrew Box is a 2025 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Milton, GA who attends Cambridge. Box worked from a range of defensive spots during his event, starting from the OF where he showcased controlled footwork and gather while successfully remaining on top of throws and creating downhill momentum. Arm strength has further room to develop, currently topping out at 74 mph. From 1B, displayed accurate throws across the diamond with refining glove work and a full arm action. On the mound, Box worked exclusively from the stretch effectively mixing a three pitch arsenal which included a SL and CH. Repeated the delivery well and released from a high 3/4 slot. FB touched 75 mph with the CH killing spin successfully at 1152 rpm. Offensively, the lefty started from a slightly open base with quiet hands to produce his best impact to the pull side of the field. Has present strength in the lower half that should continue to see incorporation into the stroke. Posted an exit velo of 80 mph. Ran a 7.73 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
