Jean Carlos Aleu is a 2023 SS/RHP, OF with a 6-0 162 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Miami Beach Senior HS. Recorded an 8.06 second 60-yard dash time. High waisted frame with good size and room for projection. Primary shortstop with deliberate actions and good body control. Secondary outfielder with short steps, a short arm action, and uses momentum well. Tight arm slot who repeats well and had throws recorded up to 78 mph. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a short turn step, leg lift above the belt, and simple mechanics. Compact arm action with a high three-quarters slot. Flashed a changeup but used almost all fastballs. Righthanded hitter with an upright stance, keeps hands away from body, good balance, showed some hand speed, all fields approach, good feel for the barrel. Good student.
