Jonathan Urena is a 2022 RHP/ with a 6-1 260 lb. frame from Springfield, MA who attends High School Of Commerce. Big and strong build, especially in the lower half. Slow paced delivery with a good hip coil, doesn't always get his hips cleared on the way to the plate and throws around his body out front, arm works well from a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 77 mph with occasional arm side run, more velocity there if he can get more use of his strong lower half. Tends to change his arm action on his curveball. Right handed hitter, rotational swing with a steep uphill swing plane and a high extended finish.
