Trey Maull is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Tyrone, GA who attends Sandy Creek. Tall and athletic look, easy frame to project strength onto. Ran a 7.15 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, tons of athleticism shown in the workout, good bounce to the step, carries the weight through well on throws, easy arm strength and more coming as he gets stronger. Recorded throws up to 81 mph with accuracy around the bag. Secondary right-handed pitcher, works from a stretch only delivery, belt high leg lift, full arm circle in the back to a three-quarters release point. Simple mechanics and repeats them well, allowing him to pound the zone with a two pitch mix. Fastball got up to 72 mph (1845 RPM) with some arm-side life to the pitch, curveball got up to 61 mph (1922 RPM). Right-handed hitter, high hands and a high back elbow in the stance, starts in a wide, balanced position, knee lift trigger stride, hit the ball to the opposite field exclusively, got the barrel inside the ball. Young bat speed and some stiffness to the hands. Has natural loft to the path. Good student. Named to 2023 Summer Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
