2021 14U West Coast Prospect Showcase
Isaiah Cuellar is a 2026 SS/C, 2B, 3B with a 5-6 114 lb. frame from Fontana, CA who attends Henry J. Kaiser. Small frame, lean build with some athleticism in the frame. 7.70 60-yd. Utilized athleticism in the outfield approaching the ball on time with good speed while fielding in the middle of his body. Short arm action with lower slot showed the ability to get it to his bases and the actions suggest jumps in the skills. Infield skills showed the ability to move well in both directions utilizing soft hands and some twitch in the feet. The release was there and arm strength will increase as he matures. While hitting showed a big leg kick with high hands and even stance utilizing the big kick to load up the swing. When he was able to get on time showed the ability to barrel the ball while flashing some bat speed and using the entire field during batting practice. Overall skills are there to make a jump with the bat-to-ball skills and showed it in the games.
