Avin Worley is a 2029 RHP/IF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Valdosta, GA who attends Cook County. Tall and long limbed young pitchers build with some present strength to continue to build on. Primary right-handed pitcher, stretch only operation, belt high leg lift to balance at the top of the lift, longer arm stroke in the back to a low slot. Repeatable delivery with tons of deception, fastball worked in the mid-70s, up to 78 mph, two distinct breakers mixed too. Right-handed hitter, even base with high hands, short stride out, busy hands throughout the swing, noticeable strength off the barrel when in rhythm. Comes off well when parts are synced. Secondary infielder, deliberate footwork with choppy steps around the dirt, bends at the waist, two hands out front and funnels into the chest. Arm works to a higher slot, developing feel to change arm angles, recorded throws up to 74 mph. Also worked out at first base and showed solid footwork around the bag with similar arm strength. Excellent student.
