Hayden Pietras is a 2024 C/3B, OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Rochester, WA who attends Rochester. He ran a 7.92 second sixty. A primary catcher with an average build showing room to still fill out moving forward. Behind the plate he sits in a wider stance rocking into the throws with good feel for the actions and soft hands as he receives the ball making accurate throws. In the outfield he receives the ball with two hands off to the side after an aggressive approach carrying his momentum into the throws showing some carry to the bases. Right-handed hitter, uses a leg lift trigger from a wider base, the bat path works longer through the zone with flashes of bat speed through the hitting zone looking to impact the ball to the pull side. Excellent student.
