Ty Lovcik is a 2024 RHP/3B with a 6-1 192 lb. frame from Maple Grove, MN who attends Maranatha Christian Academy. Recorded a 7.36 second 60-yard dash time. Larger build with some present physicality. Primary right-handed pitcher with a windup from the middle of the rubber. Side step to a crouched balance point with an online arm path. Aggressive front side rotation. Fastball topped out at 85 mph with consistent arm side run. Changeup shows some fading action and the curveball shows vertical break. Over the top arm angle and stays over the front side well. Arm strength also showed out from secondary position of the infield. Right-handed hitter with an open stance, narrow start, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Big shift inward and has a downward swing plane. Inverted toe tap trigger with a line drive oriented approach. Tremendous student. Named to the 2022 Main Event TP List.
