Noble Meyer is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-5 195 lb. frame from West Linn, OR who attends Jesuit. Long and lean athletic body, young look, extremely projectable physically. Long and fluid arm action with a 3/4's to mid 3/4's arm slot, gets out front very well, lands open with his front side, repeats his mechanics well, has outstanding arm speed and a low tension release. Fastball pretty much sat at 97-98 mph for two innings, showed the ability to spot the ball to both sides of the plate, gets very good running life at most times and has feel for how to use it. Slider is sharp and nasty with 3100 spin rpm spin rates when he's on top of it, outstanding power and depth at times, will get flat with it at times when he overthrows it. Flashed an upper 80's change up that has high level potential. Was throwing 86-89 mph in July, 2021 and in the low 90's in January but remains eminently projectable even at current velocities. Has special talent that will be exciting to watch develop further. Good student, verbal commitment to Oregon. Named to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
