Andrew Vega is a 2025 OF/IF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Newbury Park, CA who attends Newbury Park. Medium size athletic frame. Ran a 7.04 60-yard dash. Outfielder with solid average speed, fundamental footwork to the baseball on the ground, ability to move to and through the baseball, a clean transfer and a solid average throwing arm with accuracy to bases. Solid all around athlete in the outfield. Left-handed hitter hit from a wide base, gets to a quick uphill launch position and gets the swing connected to backside rotation to drive the baseball. Ability to use the whole field with pop to the pull side. Consistently on the barrel and put together a quality round of BP. Real developable traits overall. Named to Sunshine West Top Prospect List. Very good student.
