Cade Clister is a 2023 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Presto, PA who attends Pittsburgh Central Catholic. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Full hand over head mechanics on the mound, works downhill from a 3/4's arm slot, will pull across his body at times on his release but controlled the zone well with his fastball for the most part. Fastball topped out at 84 mph with some arm side running life. Curveball was a solid second pitch that he could have thrown more often, has some 12/6 sharpness and good arm speed and release. 7.18 runner in the sixty. Switch-hitter at the plate, showed a more polished and effective swing from the left side, good lower half use with a line drive stroke and good feel for the barrel. Had a big leg lift trigger right handed that got him off time and off balance at times, still showed good bat speed. Tools on both sides of the ball to further develop. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
