Jackson Hoyt is a 2025 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-3 204 lb. frame from Brooksville, FL who attends Nature Coast Technical School. Large frame with broad shoulders and lots of room to fill out and add strength. Primary left-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Short rocker into a leg lift at the belt and lands crossfired to create good deception. Can throw strikes with the fastball to either side of the plate and showed good feel to mix. Compact arm stroke and does a nice job at hiding the ball through release. Fastball got up to 18" of IVB and held the low-90s throughout the outing, getting lots of carry up in the zone. Changeup shows good fading action to the arm side. Full arsenal and can throw strikes nicely. Primarily two pitch mix between the fastball and slider and the entire arsenal projects pretty nicely. Last pitch of the outing was his hardest pitch at 92.4 mph. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to Florida.
