Primary shortstop on defense, rounds the ball well and fields it cleanly, moves confidently and charges the ball well, makes accurate throws and repeats his footwork well. Also worked out in the outfield. Right handed hitter, hits from a medium base with a early toe tap trigger, gets to his front side early, hits down and through the ball and moves it around the field, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength and physical maturity. Took a turn on the mound, has a side step delivery from the first base side of the rubber, slot pace, slow to fast mechanics with some energy on release, compact high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 80 mph with some running action, gets on top of a mid 60's curveball well for 11/5 depth, did a good job of throwing strikes with both pitches. Excellent student.
