Luis Otero is a 2022 OF/RHP/MIF with a 6-0 157 lb. frame from Bayamon, PR who attends Christian Military Academy. Nice projectable athletic build with some present strength and room for plenty more. Right handed hitter, hits from a well balanced stance with a relaxed low hand load, short leg raise trigger, upper body swing that can use more lower half to generate bat speed, has good hand quickness and some bat speed when he hits through the ball, best contact to the pull side, line drive swing plane, projects as a hitter with adjustments. 6.71 runner in the sixty. Moves athletically in the outfield, nice balance and momentum through his throws, gets into his lower half well throwing, quick and clean arm action, makes accurate throws with very good carry. Has also been up to 88 mph on the mound. Named to the Puerto Rico Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.
