Ryan McDonald is a 2023 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Troy, MO who attends Troy Buchanan. Strong and physical build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.49 seconds. Primary 1B who showed quality body control and the ability to sync his hands and feet together when fielding ground balls. Throws had solid carry to them across the diamond. He also worked out in the outfield where his throws in topped out at 84 mph. At the plate, he hits out of an open stance with a high hands setup. Showed an all-fields approach with plenty of intent in his swings. Sprayed hard contact to all parts of the diamond. Great student.
