Michael "MJ" Hough is a 2026 RHP/3B/OF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Lake Placid, FL who attends Lake Placid. Slender young athletic build. Throws from a mid-3/4's arm slot on the mound with a rotational delivery, compact arm action that hides the ball well and creates deception. Fastball was consistently in the 82-84 mph range with hard late running action into right handed hitters. Slider as a good second pitch with good power and bite, created lots of swing and miss with the slider. Effective outing with 64% strikes. Right handed hitter, hits from a balanced and slightly closed stance with a short strike into contact, line drive swing plane, swings hard and has some bat speed, can generate some jump to the pull side, couple of game doubles highlights his approach. 7.18 runner in the sixty. Worked out both in the outfield and infield and was most comfortable in the outfield, moves well and works through the ball with good momentum and body control, makes accurate throws with some carry. Excellent student. Named to the West Florida Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List.
