Cal Hollenbaugh is a 2026 RHP/1B with a 5-10 230 lb. frame from Muscatine, IA who attends Muscatine. Extra-large build with strength present. Primary right-handed pitcher, operates from a full wind-up delivery with a belt-high leg lift. Separates the hands at the chest and into an inline arm path. Releases the baseball from a three-quarters slot. Gets over his front-side and repeats his mechanics well. Fastball showed some arm-side run and was located well on the outer-third of the strike zone; topped out at 78 mph. Sequenced in a traditional 12-6 curveball to keep hitters off-balance. Induced a bunch of weak contact with his mix. Secondary first baseman, moved well laterally and stayed fairly light on his feet. Made quick and efficient turns with accurate throws across the diamond. Recorded arm strength up to 78 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts in an even stance with a high back elbow and high hand set-up. Creates some extension through the zone. Showcased the ability to work all parts of the field. Cuts his swing off at times. Displayed developing barrel control with intriguing power potential. Posted an exit velocity of 78 mph. Ran an 8.19 sixty-yard dash. Great student.
