Colin Boyd is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Newport Beach, CA who attends Mater Dei. Primary Outfielder, features an athletic, high waisted frame with room to add. Extremely aggressive and quick to the ball, fielding out front and working through. Proper glove mechanics with a quick transfer to the throwing hand. Arm speed is developing with one-hop accuracy to both bags with a downhill operation. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, shows athletic actions on the mound, working downhill and finishing in line with the plate. Loose, arm with whip throwing out of a low three-quarter arm slot with long arm action. Good usage of the lower half, driving to the plate and getting solid extension. Curveball has 11-5 shape with late depth, coupled with a deceptive change up with fade. Stays around the zone with the full mix, locating in all-four quadrants. Wide base at the plate with a square stance and leg lift trigger. Level bath path with developing bat speed and a pull side approach. Stays connected with the lower half, showing torque in the hips.
