2022 14U National Showcase
Justin San Miguel is a 2026 SS/2B with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Ocean Springs, MS who attends Resurrection Middle/High Catholic. Smaller frame with a young lean build. Ran a 7.64 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, good twitch to the profile and quick movements to both sides, has good hands and fields it well on the move, higher release and showed some young accuracy but clocked up to 77 mph across. Left-handed hitter, spread start and uses big leg lift trigger, loose swing with quicker hands and good length to the stroke, works uphill through the zone and gets it out pretty consistently, good foundation to build on as things get more synced and timed up with maturity.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
