Brayden McMurtrey is a 2022 SS/2B, OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Moore, OK who attends Moore. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.34 seconds. Hits from even, upright stance with higher hands, late trigger with bar in hands, swings it hard with intent, solid timing, middle-opposite field approach, has barrel skills, needs more strength for more impact. Worked out in the infield, fields out front with clean funnel and good footwork, works through the ball well, lengthy full arm stroke, clocked up to 76 mph on throws across the diamond. Good student.
