Ray Barwis is a 2025 OF/3B with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Lighthouse Point, FL who attends ESB Academy. Lean, athletic build. Primary outfielder, works under control on the approach, fields the baseball with one hand on the side of the body, full arm action to a three-quarters release point and developing arm strength. Smooth actions shown throughout the round, recorded throws up to 76 mph with more coming as he continues to add strength. Left-handed hitter, balanced stance with high hands and a high back elbow set, toe tap trigger stride gets the swing started and creates good separation in the hands, has bat speed and whip to the barrel, impacted consistently to the middle of the field. Consistent round with good barrel accuracy and a bunch of power to project on. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
