Braden Abbott is a 2022 SS/OF with a 6-2 182 lb. frame from Warren, MI who attends Warren Mott. Long and lean athletic build with plenty of physical projection remaining. 7.09 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder who also plays the outfield. Has a multi-part arm action at both positions, arm stroke works better with more carry in the infield, has pretty sound footwork and good agility in the infield, works through the ball well with good direction into his throws. Right handed hitter, has a pretty short swing with a good hand path, uses his lower half well to help generate bat speed, will occasionally get out too far out front at times and get off balance but does it out of aggressiveness. Has some bat speed and can get the ball to jump to the pull side, line drive swing path, plenty of projection left as a hitter as he gets stronger. Good student.
