Benjamin Beauvais is a 2025 LHP/OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Strake Jesuit College Prep. Primary left-handed pitcher with a medium frame and strong lower-half build. Simple mechanics with a high-belt lift working from the stretch. Crossfire delivery with closed landing down the slope and lower 3/4 arm slot. Ran the fastball up to 76 mph (2055 RPM) with sweeping breaking ball at 66 mph (2134 RPM). Hides the ball with delivery and with a cleaner line down the slope will increase his command of both offerings. Secondary outfielder with an aggressive approach cutting the distance. Works through the ball with a one-hand gather and online throws to the bases at 79 mph. Left-handed hitter with an open stance and upright base. Quick knee-lift trigger with high hands working through the middle of the field. Impact to the pull side when he gets down early with contact out front. Excellent student.
