Max Colina Beckman is a 2021 OF/1B with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Homestead, FL who attends Somerset Academy Silver Palms. Medium frame with a lean, athletic type build showing some fast twitch muscle throughout the frame. Ran a 7.18 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, great first step instincts as he took efficient routes to and through the baseball. Clean gather to the side as he carries momentum into transfers and throw. Arm strength starting to show as he threw it 78 mph with accuracy to the bag during drills. Fundamental in his footwork showing feel for the outfield positions. Right-Handed Hitter, balanced to start as he is a bit spread out in the stance. Hands are low as he creates separation before firing the hips and throwing the bat head at the baseball. Strength in the hands present as he flashed feel for bat on ball skills. Found the barrel with every cut during batting practice and proved he could spray it around the park. Outstanding Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
