Colt Angel is a 2027 OF/LHP with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Pine Mountain, GA who attends Harris County. Lean, athletic build with some strength present and room to add more. Primary outfielder, moves to the baseball with rhythm and works through it well. Fields the ball properly off his front foot, pulling and coiling into the back hip before accelerating into a three-quarters arm angle. Kept his throws low and online while recording arm strength up to 80 mph from the outfield. Secondary left-handed pitcher, utilizes a full wind-up delivery with smooth and direct actions down the slope. Separates the hands into a medium arm path and works into a three-quarters arm angle. Repeats his operation fairly well. Fastball showed some arm-side run and worked both sides of the plate, ultimately peaking at 81 mph. Mixed in a well-spun vertical breaker with good depth to it. Offers upside from both a physicality and velocity standpoint. Left-handed hitter, starts in a wide, slightly open stance with tight hands and a high back elbow. Utilizes a heel turn load and big weight shift for timing before working into a slightly uphill bat path. Good rhythm to the stroke with loud impact generated to the pull-side when timed up. Remained synced-up and delivered the barrel in a timely manner on a consistent basis. Projects for more power with additional strength. Posted an exit velocity of 84 mph. Ran a 7.04 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student.
