Benjamin Lim is a 2028 OF/RHP/3B with a 5-9 136 lb. frame from Katy, TX who attends Seven Lakes. Lim works from a lean still plenty projectable build with additional room to fill out and add strength as a '28 prospect. From the OF, displayed easy athletic actions with a loose repeatable arm stroke, flashing young carry behind throws up to 78 mph. Controlled buildup and did a nice job of keeping throws low and on-line. From the IF, displayed solid range to both sides and was light on the feet. Can work on changing arm slots and adjusting on the run, but showed good foundation with throws up to 77 mph across the diamond. On the mound, flashed running action to the FB up to 72 mph from a consistent 3/4 slot. Has additional room to drive down the slope with velocity developing in the future. Mixed slurvy breaker with bigger shape at 1777 rpm. Offensively, Lim started from an upright base utilizing a big leg lift trigger into weight shift. Attempts to create lift in the bat path with contact to all parts of the field. Posted an exit velo of 79 mph. Ran a 7.29 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
