Trent Middleton is a 2023 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Fullerton, CA who attends Orange Lutheran. Large build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.64 seconds. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws from a high three-quarter arm slot. Starts with his hands high above his head with a slight pause, hides the ball well. Throws a heavy fastball, gets on the hitters quickly. Worked quickly and commanded his pitches well, threw a lot of strikes. His fastball topped out at 82 mph. Worked out in the outfield, comes to the all well, has a long arm action and throws from a low arm slot. Showed good arm strength with a quick release and transfer. Also took some infield, has a lot of the same outfield actions, has a strong accurate throw. At the plate, hits from a wide even base stance, with decent bat speed. Has a short compact swing with pull side pop. Good student.
