Matthew Todd is a 2023 OF/C with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from McKinney, TX who attends McKinney North. Long athletic frame with great physical projection. Ran a 7.10 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, plays with good energy and attacks the ball hard, some stiffness to how he receives it but plays through the ball well, gathers clean and releases from a shorter arm stroke, produced strong low throws with some carry to the bags. Right-handed hitter, tall setup and loads deep on the back side, swing it hard and works short through the zone with real quickness on a lifted path, mostly hands-based right now and struggled some with barrel accuracy but stays real quick and compact with some feel to turn the barrel over. Very good student.
