Roberto Valdes Jr is a 2025 SS/2B/3B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Bay Shore, NY who attends Bay Shore. Long and lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, starts from an open stance with a high hand load, has good hand speed and has some impact ability, can get more use of his lower body to add more bat speed, works both gaps with some carry, projects well as a hitter. 7.27 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, moves well through the ball and shows his athleticism well, soft hands at the ball, has some carry on his throws, looked the best when he was playing on the move. Good student, verbal commitment to St. Johns. Named to the Northeast HS All-State Games Top Prospect List.
