Andrew Lomeli is a 2027 SS/OF with a 5-3 100 lb. frame from Upland, CA who attends Upland. Slender young build. 7.91 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, is light on his feet and has some lateral quickness for his size and age, stays low and works behind and through the ball, gets his glove in good position to field the ball, arm strength still developing but has the athleticism to continue to improve. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a high hand start, swing is pretty short and direct and he gets the barrel out on time, good base swing to grow into. Very good student.
