Marcus White is a 2025 OF/LHP with a 5-7 120 lb. frame from Mansfield, TX who attends Lake Ridge. Medium, square shouldered frame with a lean build and long limbs, room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 6.88 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes short strides moving towards the ball, full arm action through the back, shows looseness to arm, accuracy improved throughout round, occasionally opens front side early, shows carry when working through the ball. Also pitched, leg lift just below belt with deliberate tempo, stretch only operation, shorter stride down teh mound while working to a higher three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 71 mph, ball comes out of hand cleanly and shows comfort landing curveball for strikes up to 60 mph; flashed a changeup at 66 mph with late tumble. Left-handed hitter, begins with a narrow set up and open stance, maintains balance and shows quickness through the zone. Solid bat speed through the zone, shows some handle for the barrel at present and worked on a line to the middle of the field, intriguing components to swing and projects well with added strength. Excellent student. Named to 13u/14u Sunshine Texas Top Prospect List.
