Julian Kielb is a 2023 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Basking Ridge, NJ who attends Ridge. Tall, lanky build with tons of physical projection remaining to add throughout his frame. 5.26-second runner during the sixty. Primary first baseman, fields out in front with a deep fielding funnel with solid actions around the glove. Flashes of arm strength with throws up to 76 mph. Secondary third baseman, methodical footwork waiting back on the ball a bit. Up to 78 mph across the diamond with accuracy. Some stiffness throughout his actions that he could iron out. Right-handed hitter, slightly open stance with a low-hand set. Middle-of-the-field approach with flashes of gap-to-gap juice when on time. Compact stroke with developing feel for the barrel with a tendency to cast his hands. Excellent student.
