2024 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 5)
Robert 38 Jackson Iii is a 2026 OF/LHP/1B with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Hampton, GA who attends Newton. Solid frame with room to build and displaying presents wiry strength and super fast twitch overall movements. Ran the 60 yard dash in an impressive 6.47 seconds. Primary position outfielder, getting to the ball with game like speed breaking down into methodical transfer to throw. Midline glove work and leading to shorter inline arm path building feeds up to 84 mph back to the infield. Shows feel for the spot and there is more arm strength to come. Switch hitter, on the right side working from a slightly open stance and wider base to start. Rocks back to load pre-pitch and translates that into plus hand speed as he whips the barrel through the zone. Some length to the path but gets to the barrel and shows some jump. From the left side, uses similar setup pre-pitch , well balanced and a shorter approach to the ball here. Line drive contact, peppering the ball in the middle of the field with excellent bat speed. Good skills on both sides of the ball. Outstanding student as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
