2023 Northwest Prospect Showcase
Adam Jay is a 2025 LHP/OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Maple Valley, WA who attends Tahoma Senior. Tall and well filled frame. Standard delivery with fluid arm stroke to a three-quarters release. Overloaded the strike zone with a running fastball. Sparingly went to the breaking ball but showed decent depth and shape when executed. Stuff produces whiffs and frequent weak contact. In the outfield, he moves well through the fielding point, very under control. Loose arm action creates solid jump out of the hand with accurate throws to both bases. Left-handed hitter, medium well balanced base. Coils well into the loaded position, unloads it on time with controlled violence through the zone. Got it on the barrel frequently both in batting practice and game reps. Stand out pull side power and maybe the best overall performer at the 2023 Northwest Prospect. 7.39 60-yard. Exceptional student. Named to the Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
