2025 PG WWBA Workout Showcase (July 5)
Davian Hammonds is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Macon, GA who attends Houston County. Solid, athletic frame with lean muscularity and a lot of life to his actions. The broad shoulders and high waist to allow for more physicality. Primary position outfielder, showing quick feet and closing speed as he gets to the ball with good angles. Solid fundamentals, could carry more momentum through the throws. Works the glove off to the side and works to get squared up before delivering throws up to 89 mph back to the infield. Reps on the infield as well, showing same good footwork here and transitioning to a high 3/4 arm angle. Solid accuracy and can make the plays here too. RHH working from a medium and slightly open stance with a high handset and high back elbow. Toe tap trigger for timing, turns the hips quick and displays very good barrel accuracy. When synched up the ball jumps off the barrel and showed nice power to the pull side. Emerging overall offense skillset with plenty to look forward to. Good student as well. Named to the PG WWBA Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.
