Luca Marshall is a 2022 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Sea Girt, NJ who attends Manasquan. Tall and slender build with square shoulders and some strength potential. Compact delivery with a fast tempo, quick full arm swing with a high 3/4's arm slot, has some deception to his mechanics, tends to fall off after his foot strike out front leaving his arm behind at times. Worked with a mid-70's fastball, gets some arm side run in the zone. Tends to slow his arm and drop his slot on his curveball, got some fading action to his change up. Key to his development will be more consistency in his delivery and release point. 7.94 runner in the sixty, also plays the outfield and first base. Left handed hitter, hits from a narrow stance with a low hand set and a big drift into contact, level line drive swing, made good contact in the games working to all fields. Excellent student.
