Alex Rodriguez is a 2023 SS/2B with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from East Meadow, NY who attends East Meadow. Medium, high waisted frame with a slender build and plenty of room to add strength. Recorded a 7.18 second-sixty-yard dash time. Primary middle-infielder with some fluidity and smoothness to his actions throughout the fielding process. Works downhill through the baseball, displays a clean funnel out in-front and showed the ability to change arm angles when necessary. Recorded accurate throws up to 72 mph across the diamond during drills. Switch-hitter that hits from a similar slightly open stance from both sides, incorporates a lower hand set and a leg lift trigger for timing. Coils well into his lower half during both swings and has some feel for the barrel. Mostly middle-of-the field approach with present bat speed and solid bat-to-ball skills. Displayed more impact from the left-side in this look. Fundamentally sound defender with some quick twitch athleticism and offensive upside, will continue to improve with additional arm strength. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
