Chet Eckert is a 2028 RHP/2B, SS, MIF with a 5-6 114 lb. frame from Brenham, TX who attends Brenham. Lean and athletic build. Primary right handed pitcher who throws from a high 3/4 slot. Starts tall in the delivery while sinking into the back side well. Throws from the stretch with a short stride to the plate. Showed good young life to the fastball as well. Showed some feel to spin it as well with a slider that cut a little bit. Ran a 8.05 sixty. Also played infield. Moves well and can get to balls laterally. Developing arm strength. Right handed hitter swinging from a narrow open base with high hands. Showed some feel for the barrel and is developing bat speed.
