2023 WWBA Summer Workout Showcase (July 12)
Henry Zaring is a 2027 OF/RHP, 3B with a 5-7 130 lb. frame from Smyrna, GA who attends Campbell. He ran a 7.61 Sixty Yard Dash. Henry has a slender wiry build with pretty more strength to be put on. Primary Outfielder he fielded the ball cleanly to the side with quick footwork. Zaring showed some carry on his throws with good accuracy to the bases. Henry showed a very repeatable release and some looseness to the arm stroke. Left handed hitter he starts with a wide even stance with some aggression in the hips. The swing path is very fluid through the zone at a linear angle. He showed some quickness in the barrel with some strength to the pull side. Zaring creates plenty of separation in the swing. Henry is a great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
