Jailen Monegan is a 2025 MIF/3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Humble, TX who attends Kingwood. Lean, wiry frame with athletic traits. Ran a 7.14 in the sixty. Primary infielder, good showing in drills. Gets the glove out front well and works from a shorter arm action. Good arm strength across and plenty of accuracy. Good mover and range to either side. Barehanded it well. Right-handed hitter, hits from a narrow stance and open base with high hand set. Rotates lower half well, present hand speed. Short, direct swing that is quick through the zone. Good line drives to the pull side, simple and repeats. Promising impact of the barrel, finished round with a home run and the intent was on full display. Very good student.
