Payton Aaron is a 2028 RHP/SS with a 5-7 130 lb. frame from Splendora, TX who attends Splendora. Slender and wiry young build with lots of room to get stronger. Quick first step and good lateral range in the infield with solid feel to the backhand and accurate arm from a mid three-quarters slot. Moves well with compact, athletic actions and handles the routine play with confidence. 7.5-grade infield defender. At the plate, shows looseness to his hands with a long swing path and some present bat speed. Works slightly open with a strong hand load and shows the ability to impact the ball to the pull side. Can whip the barrel through the zone and inside out the ball when timed. On the mound, quick arm from a hidden ¾ slot with tight release; fastball gets on hitters with some angle, while the breaking ball shows big depth and feel. Developing changeup and solid arm speed. Shows two-way potential with athleticism and feel across the board.
