Vaughn Franklin is a 2028 OF/RHP with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Chaparral. Features a long, lean frame with room to add. Ran a 7.32 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder. Stays under control into the catchpoint. Fields the ball out front and creates momentum into release. Throws from a shorter arm action with arm speed present. Can create carry on accuracy throws. Reached 87 mph during workouts. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a leg lift trigger into a slight uphill approach. Uses hands speed to catch it out front and drive balls pullside. Has some power in that direction. Right-handed pitcher. Uses a semi-windup delivery into drop and drive mechanics. Slight crossfire landing. Throws from a 3/4 slot with a medium length arm action. Exclusive fastball usage. Worked up to 84 mph, sitting 79-82 mph. Continuing to develop the ability to repeat operation will allow for more strikes. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
