Connor Martin is a 2022 SS/2B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Helena, AL who attends Helena. Medium frame with good present physicality to the build. Ran a 6.73 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, works quick around the dirt with a good internal clock, stays low through the ball and works through it well with solid arm strength from a compact arm action. Left-handed hitter, sets up narrow and strides in well, shows very good bat speed and some twitch to the hands, swings hard and works to leverage while showing a good handle and consistency with the barrel while also showing good impact strength as he drove the ball well on a line when squared during batting practice. Great student. Named to 2021 Summer Gulf Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.
