Jack Wuerdeman is a 2025 LHP/OF with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Denver, NC who attends North Lincoln. Medium, athletic build with present strength in his lower half, with more strength remaining to be added as he matures physically. 7.87-second runner during the sixty. Primary left-handed pitcher, worked exclusively out of the stretch with a simple drop and drive lower half. Clears backside well as he drives down the slope, remaining on line to the plate. Full arm swing from a 3/4 slot. Showcased strong feel for a three-pitch mix that project well. Ran fastball up to 80 mph, cruising in the 77-79 mph range with more velocity on the way as he adds strength. Curveball showed 11-5 shape with some sharp vertical depth, landing it for strikes in various counts. Maintained his arm speed when throwing his change-up that showed tumbling actions away from right-handed hitters. Commanded the zone well, working in all four quadrants throughout his three innings of work. Secondary outfielder, plays through the ball well, fielding off his front foot with a deep funnel. Accurate, on line throws to the bags from a compact arm stroke, up to 77 mph. Right-handed hitter, sets up with an even, balanced stance. Compact stroke with a short hand path to the ball. Flashed some juice to the gaps when he stayed on the ball through extension. Solid feel for the barrel. Tremendous student. Named to Sunshine Atlantic Coast Top Prospect List.
