Yusef Charles is a 2026 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-1 213 lb. frame from Maitland, FL who attends Edgewater. Big and strong build. Right handed hitter, sets up in an upright and slightly open stance with a small leg raise trigger, stays compact and creates bat speed and barrel whip, ball really jumps hard when he clears his front side. Primary third baseman on defense, plays under control and has some lateral quickness, fielded the ball cleanly, was balanced and athletic in all his actions. Also worked out in the outfield with basic left field actions, arm strength was his defensive tool on the grass. Took a turn on the mound and threw strikes with a fastball up to 81 mph to go with a downer curveball. Excellent student. Named to the PG Uncommitted Main Event Showcase Presented by Geico Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
