Dylan Montez is a 2028 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-7 120 lb. frame from Montverde, FL who attends Lake Minneola. Recorded an 8.13 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop with a young build. Moved to the ball with choppy footwork and showed good lateral range. Utilized a shorter arm action, releasing from a high slot. Made the plays and arm works well. Right-handed hitter and starts from a narrow base with even feet. Showed some quickness to hands and bat stays on a linear bat path through the zone. Keeps the hands tight during swing. Secondary right-handed pitcher and begins with a leg lift to waist level, landing on line at foot strike. Fastball topped out at 73 mph and mixed in a curveball. Arm stays short through the back and showed a loose arm.
