2025 PG Fall East Coast Workout Showcase (Friday)
Dillan Castellano-Smith is a 2027 C/3B/3B with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Kinnelon, NJ who attends Kinnelon. Long and lean build with some strength in his lower half to further develop. 7.49 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up in a side saddle stance, replaces his feet well and gains ground into his throws well, clean exchange and release, game actions in drills, arm strength only fair but makes up for it with quickness and solid fundamentals. Also worked out in the infield, has good lower half quickness and got to balls well, soft glove work, made accurate soft throws. Athleticism showed at both positions. Right handed hitter, sets up in a narrow and open stance with a hanging front leg timer, has a short slashing swing with gap to gap contact, controls the barrel well, bat speed projects as he continues to get stronger. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
