Angel Gonzalez is a 2028 SS/IF with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Kissimmee, FL who attends North Kissimmee Christian School. Young athletic build. 7.40 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has quick and twitchy actions, lots of bounce to his footwork, fields the ball cleanly, arm works very well, high level arm strength with an easy release, made accurate throws, pure middle infield actions. Right handed hitter, hits from a medium and slightly open stance with a high hand load, short simple stride into contact, hits down and through the ball for middle of the field contact, handles the barrel well but still developing the strength to create jump off the barrel. Defense stands out.
