Fernie E Lopez is a 2025 SS/RHP, MIF, OF with a 5-8 119 lb. frame from El Paso, TX who attends Pebble Hills. Posted a 7.13 in the 60. Primary SS shows some projection left in the build and developing defensive tools. His infield actions are playable with room to build on the footwork and lateral movements making plays. He makes the arm work with some softness in the glove in both the infield and outfield and should progress moving forward. Right-handed hitter has good intent with feel for a fundamental swing, controls the barrel well flashing line drive impact. Moving pieces and developing strength have time to put together an effective hit tool.
