Jackson Riley is a 2026 1B/LHP with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Chickasha, OK who attends Amber-Pocasset. Lean and projectable high waisted build. Switch-hitter at the plate, sets up in an open stance from the left side with good rhythm in his load and a quick line drive swing path, right handed swing has less rhythm but more raw bat speed and power potential, gets into his lower half more from the right side. Has plenty of potential from both sides. 7.70 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has athletic actions and comes to the ball well, has bounce off the bag, nice arm strength from a 3/4's arm slot. Also pitched, works from the stretch from the third base side of the rubber, has a coiled high leg raise to start his delivery, hides the ball well, throws from a high 3/4's arm slot, good extension out front, slow paced and well controlled overall mechanics. Fastball was in the upper 70's and topped out at 80 mph, more velocity there, present velocity plays up with deception and extension. Curveball was tunneled well with big 1/7 shape and depth and created some ugly swings. Also flashed a low 70's change up. Has a chance on the mound as a two way prospect. Good student. Named to the PG Lone Star Showcase Top Prospect List.
